We started FlippRatz because getting dressed well should not take a Saturday. One box a month, picked to you, on the porch before you think about it.

Build your box

The idea came from a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear.

Everyone we knew had the same problem. Plenty of stuff, most of it bought in a hurry, half of it the wrong size, none of it going together. Shopping had become a chore you did badly at eleven at night.

So we flipped it. Tell us your sizes and taste once. Every month we pack a small box of clothing and everyday goods that fit that profile, ship it free, and get out of the way. Keep what you love. Swap what you don’t. Skip when the closet is full.

We work out of a converted hangar on the south side of Chicago. It has room for the folding tables, the tape guns and the racks, and the door is big enough that the boxes leave in one go on the 1st. That is where the jet on the cart comes from. Your order leaves at speed.

What we stand by

Four rules we pack to.

Picked, not pushed
Your profile decides what goes in the box. We never fill a box with whatever is overstocked.
Packed by hand
Every box is folded, checked and taped by a person in Chicago. If the size is wrong, that is on us, and we fix it free.
Small runs, less waste
We make in short runs, ship in recycled kraft with no plastic, and re-home every clean return instead of landfilling it.
Easy to leave
A subscription you cannot cancel is a trap. Ours is two taps. Most people stay anyway.

Sustainability

Less, better, longer.

A subscription that ships every month has to take waste seriously. Here is what we actually do.

Short production runs sized to subscribers, so we are not making pieces nobody ordered.
Recycled kraft boxes, paper tape and no plastic polybags. The box is curbside recyclable.
Clean returns and swaps are re-homed through our members-only Second Flight sale, never destroyed.
Free size swaps mean fewer wrong-size purchases sitting unworn in a drawer.
